Another amazingly executed Werxzy banger we have here. Beautiful usage of the theme, really nice concept and idea wonderfully executed.
The creepy, solitary vibes are amazing with the OST and just the general “I need to go now” feel.
Graphics with it’s own rendering technique are spectacular and the gameplay loop is really tight. Well done.
I really like how you've styled the itch page! Awesome little game. It was cool seeing how you developed it stage by stage!
Damn impressive! Is that 'real' 3d or faked somehow? Must be tricky in pico!
Thank you. :) It’s kind of real 3d? The way I’m drawing it is actually pretty simple. I’m just storing a table of tables for each integer z/depth value, then each of those tables store a bunch of functions that can be called to draw something to the screen. Calling the functions from back to front ends up being similar to just all sprite stacking.
Great work Werxzy!! This game is as impressive in its construction as well as its presentation! The sprite stacking works really well here and the gameplay mechanics are simple to understand but fun to engage with! Incredible submission!!
Thank you again :)
Amazing. The game loop is solid and the music and visuals are pleasant. Sank in a solid chunk of time before realizing that it's probably an endless loop type game. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, I actually made couple changes on the last two days of the game jam (worked all 14 days), Adding the quota and time limit to better give the player a goal and urge them to actually do well on each ship. (There was a strategy before where the player could just run away and end the job at the first sight of danger.)
